Having spent just over a month working in a large country house just outside of Chepstow for Lion TV was a great experience. Six crafters were invited to live in a Victorian Commune, and recreate the ways of the Arts and Crafts movement. They were tasked with using techniques from the time to make furniture, art and tools.
Inspired by William Morris, Mary Watts et al the designs were beautiful yet functional. Watching the collaborations and learning curve of these artists was inspirational.
The show will be out on BBC 2 around Christmas, and I hope people enjoy watching is as much as we did making it.
